Electronic Gaming Federation, Inc. (EGF) has awarded creative, media and public relations AOR to Gravity, a Dentsu Aegis Network. EGF operates formalized esports leagues in the scholastic (high school) and collegiate verticals across the United States, with planned expansion into international markets. EGF’s collegiate league, EGFC, is comprised solely of Division 1 colleges and universities, particularly those in the Power 5 conferences. EGF also owns and operates the agency that is responsible for monetizing the commercial rights of its member schools. Gravity and its sister agency Triomphant Communications will support EGF in developing and expanding the brand image and raising awareness among investors, high schools, colleagues and universities and commercial partners.
EGF was established by Tyler Schrodt in 2015 with the purpose of creating the definitive scholastic and collegiate leagues for esports. Being a team of lifelong gamers and sports nerds themselves, EGF is building the infrastructure for scholastic and collegiate esports across the United States and internationally to develop formalized esports programs, run esports competitions and produce esports media.
“With the global esports audience reaching over 380 million and industry revenue expected to surpass $1.5 billion over the next two years, we needed a trusted agency partner to support us on this amazing journey. We are confident that Gravity’s vast experience in sports marketing and passion for entrepreneurship coupled with creative excellence make them the ideal partner for EGF.” said Tyler Schrodt, EGF’s CEO.
