West Coast Office Announcement
July 14 2011

Gravity Media is expanding on the West Coast with an office in Costa Mesa. The agency is leasing about 1,000 square feet of space in the same building as Orange County’s largest Hispanic-market advertising agency Casanova Pendrill Inc., part of New York’s Interpublic Group of Cos. Inc.

“We’re excited to grow our business on the West Coast,” said Gravity co-owner and EVP Boris Chernyy. Gravity clients looking to attract more business from Asian-American and Hispanic consumers are one of the reasons for the agency’s expansion. The other reason is a major account win announced in June. Las Vegas, Nev.-based casino and entertainment company Caesars Entertainment Corp. recently hired Gravity to bae its agency of record for Asian-American marketing and advertising. Gravity will work on all brands, including Caesars and Harrah’s casinos.

“LA is one of their top markets for attracting customers to Las Vegas is in California,” added Yuriy Boykiv, CEO and co-owner of Gravity. “We want to be in the hub of the community.”

The local office will handle the Caesars work along with Gravity Media’s U.S. Army advertising account.

The West Coast office coincides with the addition of two top advertising executives to the Gravity Media’s West Coast team: Candy Tse, Production Manager and Ian Nguyen, Art Director. Both have over 15 years of international advertising experience working on over 20 different brands.

Gravity started in 2009 and grew to $3.4 million in revenue last year, according to trade publication Ad Age. Ad Age named Gravity the fastest-growing multicultural ad agency in the nation.
