April 7 2011

The US Army has retained McCann Worldgroup as its agency responsible for a full range of advertising and marketing services including direct marketing. Gravity, as a part of 11 other agencies under the McCann’s umbrella, has been selected to continue building strategy for marketing, public relations and grassroots outreach for the U.S. Army in their recruiting efforts for specific U.S. multicultural markets.

Gravity Media will assist McCann Worldgroup with strategy development and execution of a full range of marketing, grassroots and public relations programs in support of U.S. Army recruitment. Gravity will be responsible for building relations within key multicultural markets and building awareness of the plethora of educational and career opportunities available to the U.S. Farsi, Dari, and Pashto speaking communities, as well as to the U.S. Asian and Pacific Islander population.

“Gravity Media’s unique expertise within these target markets is a valuable asset to McCann and its marketing and communications support of the U.S. Army’s mission,” said Lisa Nocella COO U.S. Army Account, McCann Worldgroup. “Their focus on innovation in all areas and having a diverse team of spirited marketing and PR professionals representing every part of the globe really makes Gravity stand out.”

“Supporting the U.S. Army in their recruitment efforts is an honor and a privilege in any capacity,” stated Yuriy Boykiv, Co-founder of Gravity Media. “Gravity has been very grateful to work with the great team at McCann and we look forward to growing awareness of the U.S. Army opportunities to these key multicultural markets.”

McCann Worldgroup has retained the Army advertising contract since 2005. Gravity began supporting McCann’s U.S. Army’s multicultural marketing and communications efforts in 2010. Along with the U.S. Army, other clients Gravity works with include: Prudential, Northwestern Mutual, Galina Blanca, DISH Network, TMP Government and IDT.
